Conte does not provide online checkout or payment facilities. All transactions occur only through direct communication using the contact information provided on the Website.

4. Artwork Listings and Accuracy
Artworks displayed on the Website are provided by artists who collaborate with Conte.
While we strive for accuracy, slight variations in colour, texture, or appearance may occur due to screen differences or photographic lighting.
Conte is not responsible for such variations.
Artworks visible on the Website may be available for:
Purchase
Rental
Both (as chosen by the artist)
Prices are not displayed on the Website and are shared only upon enquiry.
5. Enquiries, Sales, and Pricing
All sales and rentals occur through direct contact with Conte via email, phone, or WhatsApp.
Pricing shared with clients may include:
Artist’s base price
Conte’s service fee
Packaging
Transport
Installation charges
Applicable taxes
Full payment terms, delivery timelines, and installation details will be provided individually for each order.
6. Rental Terms
By renting artwork from Conte, the client (“Renter”) agrees to the following:
6.1 Rental Period
The rental duration, rental fee, and renewal options will be defined at the time of booking.
6.2 Condition and Handling
All rented artworks must be handled with care.
Artworks must not be exposed to moisture, direct sunlight, heat, or chemicals.
Clients must not alter or attempt to repair the artwork.
6.3 Damage, Loss, and Liability
If an artwork is damaged, lost, or destroyed during the rental period, the client is responsible for paying the full artwork value as determined by Conte.
Minor wear or natural ageing is acceptable; intentional or negligent damage is not.
6.4 Installation
Conte may provide installation services at an additional cost.
If clients install artworks themselves, Conte is not liable for damage caused during installation.
6.5 Insurance
For rentals, Conte may provide insurance for deliveries handled directly by Conte within Mumbai.
For outstation deliveries, clients are responsible for ensuring safe receipt.
6.6 Return of Artwork
Rented artworks must be returned on the agreed date in the same condition.
Late returns may incur additional charges.
7. Sale Terms
7.1 Payment
Payment terms depend on the order and will be shared directly with the client. No payment is taken through the Website.
7.2 Shipping and Delivery
Shipping fees depend on artwork size, location of the artwork, and delivery destination.
Conte is not responsible for delays caused by couriers, weather, or unforeseen circumstances.
7.3 Returns & Exchanges
All sales are final. Conte does not accept returns or exchanges after purchase.
7.4 Artwork Damage During Transit
Damage must be reported immediately upon delivery.
If damage is caused during shipping arranged by Conte, we will assess and resolve the issue directly.
If clients arrange their own shipping, Conte is not liable.
8. Authenticity
Each artwork available for sale is represented as authentic based on information provided by the artist. Conte provides authenticity confirmation electronically if requested.
Conte is not responsible for misrepresentation by artists but will act in good faith to resolve any issues.
9. Artist-Owned Works
All artworks remain the property of the artist until:
A sale is completed, or
A rental agreement is executed.
Conte acts as an intermediary and is not responsible for disputes between artists and external third parties.
10. External Links
Third-party links may appear on this Website. Conte is not responsible for the content or accuracy of external websites.
11. Limitation of Liability
Conte is not liable for:
Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
Losses due to misuse of the Website
Colour or texture variations
Damages incurred during client-managed installation or shipping
Losses arising from reliance on Website content
Use of the Website is entirely at your own risk.
12. Termination of Access
Conte reserves the right to restrict or terminate access to any part of the Website at any time without prior notice.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
All disputes fall under the jurisdiction of Navi Mumbai court only.
